Kyoto International University's campus is strategically located in Kyotanabe City which is around 30 minutes away from three major locations; Kyoto City, The Osaka-Kobe Metropolitan Area , and Nara City.

Here is a list of approximate time to KIU from several station locations.

By Kintetsu: 

25 minutes from Kyoto Station. 
20 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station 

By JR: 

40 minutes from Kyobashi Station
50 minutes from Osaka Station
95 minutes from Kansai Station

Road Map

By Foot:

Follow the main road through town going east (toward the Kizu River).  Before you reach Bairyo Junior High School, there  will be a sign for KIU on the left.  Turn right and follow the road to KIU. 

10 minutes from Kintetsu "Shintanabe" Station. 
15 minutes from JR "Kyotanabe" Station.

By Car:

From Keinawa Expressway's Tanabe Nishi interchange, it takes 5 minutes by car. Stay on Route 307 and look for the KIU sign on the left turn left to the north about 50 meters after the sign. The road is 300m before the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge. Follow the road to KIU. �@

From Route 24, turn west and cross over the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge. Stay on Route 307 for 300m (passed Osaka Siren) and turn right to the north. Follow the road to KIU.
