Visa Procedures

Students coming to study on a short-term plan (up to 180 day) will be usually able to do this with a visa waiver. Those wishing to stay longer should contact Kenichi Ogata at the Admissions Office for further information on student visa application procedures.

Housing

KIU is conveniently located in the heart of a university housing area serving several large local universities. There are many student apartments available within walking and cycling distance of KIU, shopping areas and mass transit systems.

Limited home-stay housing with local Japanese families is also available to those wishing to get a taste of Japanese home life.
