KIU is on a semester system and allows students to be admitted for classes starting in September or April. The application deadline for the spring semester is March 31, and for the fall semester is July 10.

Application and admissions requirements follow an American approach; therefore, there are no entrance examinations. However, an essay or interview is required prior to acceptance. For more information regarding admissions, please go to our "How to Apply" section.
