Transfer Admissions / Credit
KIU accepts transfer students from universities around the world.
Applicants must submit official transcripts in either English or
Japanese. High school transcripts must also be submitted by applicants
transferring less than 60 university credits.
Students must have a GPA of 2.0 (C or better) in all transferable
units attempted. Evaluations will be based upon an equivalent level of
study at an American university. Those transferring from a
regionally-accredited American university do not have to furnish course
descriptions or the academic policy of the institution from which they
wish to transfer; however, other applicants may be required to do so.
