Facilities
Campus
Students move between the three school buildings depending on their class schedules. The second and third school building were built by groups of volunteers who came from the United States. KIU Academy students were given a unique experience in helping complete parts of those buildings.
 |
A-Building (1997) - Primarily for lower elementary school but also used for special events.
B-Building (2001) - Shared between the upper elementary and middle school.
C-Building (2003) - Used by the middle school and high school.

Computers

KIU Academy has two computer labs on the campus for their students.
The computers are Windows-based systems, on which classes from word processing to graphic design are taught.
Fiber optic internet access is also available on all of the computers.

School Bus
A free shuttle bus is provided for the lower elementary school students every morning.
School Bus Time: 8:30am Place: Kintetsu Shintanabe Station Taxi Stand Buses are also used for camps, excursions and travelling between KIU Academy and the sports center.
Science Lab
We are equipped with a science lab for physical interaction to the science that the students are learning. The lab is available for all the science classes.
Sports Ground / Sports Center
KIU Academy has three activity grounds, as well as a playground for the younger elementary school students behind the main school building.
An outdoor sports ground or gymnasium is rented for softball, basketball and other sports.
